You know those Oatmeal Raisin Cookies I made over the weekend? Well, I might have made a shake with them. No actually, I did. And it just might be the best shake everrrrr! Super sinful. But, I’m not sorry.
I came home from worked stressed to the max and immediately pulled the ice cream out of the freezer and grabbed my container of leftover cookies and got to blendin’. So, what I’m really trying to say is that I blame stress. Stress made me do it.
Did I mention that this Vanilla Oatmeal Raisin Cookie Shake requires only 3 ingredients? Yep, that’s all. Milk, vanilla bean ice cream, and cookies. Um, like 6 cookies. But, who’s counting? Not I. Stress I tell ya. It’ll get ‘cha.
This was really meant to be 1 serving, but then I realized that a serving of ice cream is a wee little ½ cup. I mean really? Who eats only a ½ cup of ice cream? In other words, if you drink this whole shake all by yourself, I won’t tell. Promise. Because I may or may not have done the same. Yup, all bazillion calories to myself. Nooo, I’m kidding—I shared with the hubster and he LOVED it.
Creamy, thick vanilla goodness bursting with oatmeal raisin cookie flavor. I mean BURSTING. The cinnamon, the raisins, the buttery deliciousness of cookies. Hellllllo!
Enough already! Go indulge. Seriously.
- ½ cup milk (I used unsweetened almond milk)
- 2 cups vanilla bean ice cream
- 4-6 oatmeal raisin cookies (from my previous post)
- Add the milk, ice cream, and cookies to a blender and blend until smooth. Serve immediately.
Psst! Here’s my Oatmeal Raisin Cookie recipe again, if you choose to go the homemade cookie route. Go ahead, do it!
